Instructions
for getting to Wallacefield.

From the North:
- Leave the M6 at Junction 42.
- On the roundabout, take the second exit, signposted A6 South
- After 3 miles, there's a sign on the right (pointing left) "Aiketgate".
- Turn left here, and follow the road for 1.3 miles to the first road turning on the left (the sign's currently broken):
- Follow that road straight on 1.9 miles, going straight over the crossroads.
- At the end of the road, turn right; You'll see the sign for Wallacefield is 100 yards further on the left.
From the South:
- Leave the M6 at Junction 41.
- On the roundabout, take the last (4th exit), signposted Penrith and A6.
- After a mile, there's another roundabout. Take the second exit, signposted A6 North.
- About 6 miles on there's a dual carriageway.
- Take the turning right signed to Armathwaite, just after the Barrons lorry/caravan park.
- At the T Junction after one mile, turn right, which takes you under a railway bridge.
- Go on to the village, past the shop.
- Bear left (not crossing the bridge)
- After 2 miles, there's a level crossing.
- The turn for Wallacefield is 100 yards on on the right.
