Charles Weir – About Myself I'm Managing Director of Penrillian, a software house specializing in porting software to Symbian OS smartphones. I’m also chair of the Miners (Industries) Trust, a voluntary organisation funding small businesses in Cumbria.

Background

I'm married to Julia Aglionby, who’s a land agent and environmental economist. We live in a converted farmhouse near Armathwaite, Carlisle and have two children.

We share an enthusiasm for walking, cycling, reeling, and entertaining visitors. Myself, I'm enthusiastic about novels, film, jive dance and improving public transport.
